How Faith is Bringing Hope to Fort Collins in Big Ways

Everyone – no, really, everyone – needs to know that there is hope to be found when life takes unforeseen and difficult detours. We live in a broken world that is in desperate need of a Savior. As Christians, we have the confidence of knowing that no matter what we might be facing, we will not be overcome by pain, darkness or despair – and our neighbors need to know about this hope-filled news!

In our Hope series, we want everyone (as in, our entire community!) to know and experience the hope available to them in Jesus Christ. We serve a God who is not afraid of our hopelessness and is willing to step into our painful and dark circumstances in order to be near us and draw us closer to his Son. We believe in the hope of Christ so fiercely that we decided to invite everyone in zip code 80526 to join us for our next sermon series so they can hear about and experience the hope Jesus offers.

So how exactly do we invite thousands of people to come and hear about the hope available to them in Christ? And how can you join this tidal wave of hope in Fort Collins?

We ordered 20,000 door hangers to distribute to all the homes in our zip code, and we have been encouraging the whole Faith family to help get them out there! Did you grab your packet of door hangers at church on Sunday? If not, stop by the office before 3:00pm Friday to pick up a packet (or two or three) and a map. Then get out in this beautiful fall weather and walk a neighborhood. As you walk, pray for the people in the neighborhood.

Even if you can’t distribute door hangers, please pray for our community. Pray for God to move in BIG ways as we begin our Hope series on October 17!
