Prayer is at the heart of who we are as a church. Jesus said, “Apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5, and we believe that everything lasting and life-giving in our church flows from depending on him in prayer. Prayer is not just something we do. It is how we align our hearts with God, intercede for one another and invite the Spirit to move in our community.
At Faith, we want to be a praying people. Whether in quiet moments alone or gathered together as a body, we believe prayer shapes us and releases God’s power among us.
We’d love for you to join us in these rhythms of prayer:
Every Sunday, before services begin, our Firestarters gather at 9:00am to pray over the preaching of God’s Word, our worship and every person who will walk through the doors. They also commit to pray throughout the week for a fresh anointing on our preaching ministry—that Jesus would be exalted and the Spirit would work powerfully through the Word. If you would like to join the Firestarter Prayer Team, then join our groups page at connectfaith.org
On the first Wednesday of each month from 7:00-8:00pm our elders lead the church in prayer. These evenings are simple and powerful times of intercession, worship and listening for God’s voice together. View upcoming Prayer Nights on our Calendar.
Faith’s Prayer Network allows our church to stay connected through prayer.
Wherever you are in your journey with Jesus, you are welcome at these prayer gatherings. Come and be encouraged, strengthened and reminded that God delights to meet with his people.
