Women of The Word - Gain a Heart of Wisdom - A Study of the Book of Proverbs Part 2

January 7 - April 1, 2025

Tuesdays – 9:00 – 11:00am or 6:30 – 8:15pm
Cost:  $30

To whom do you turn for wisdom? Do you turn to the many talk shows, to Hollywood, or to current gurus in our society? We need wisdom to understand how to raise our children to be responsible, respectful, and resourceful and to love the Lord. We need wisdom in our marriages more than ever because marriages, even Christian marriages, are in serious trouble. We need wisdom to know how to handle our finances because mishandling finances can wreck a home and hinder a family’s future. We need wisdom to know how to develop healthy friendships, to use the gift of speech rightly, to express our sexuality in a manner that is pleasing to the Lord, and to understand what our obligations are to our employers. We need wisdom to rightly divide God’s Word and apply the truths therein to life situations.

If you base your life and behavior on the wisdom of the changing winds of culture, you will find that you are like a ship, caught in the storms of life, tossed to and fro and without an anchor. If you sincerely desire a practical way to live your life for the glory of God and for maximum enjoyment and success, the book of Proverbs is designed to equip you with practical wisdom, discipline and discretion. It offers a solid foundation on which you can build your life, and it does not change with the winds of culture. Join us as we continue our study of the book of Proverbs.

REGISTER HERE.  The first semester study of Proverbs is not a prerequisite!

Women's Thursday Morning Bible Study

January 23 - April 3, 2025

Thursdays – 9:00 – 11:00am
Cost:  $35
Sermon on the Mount – by Jen Wilkin

In His sweeping depiction of kingdom citizenship, Jesus utters some of the most familiar passages in all of Scripture. Most of us have only encountered the Sermon on the Mount in fragments, considering its subdivisions as complete teachings in their own right—a study on blessedness; a reflection on the Lord’s Prayer; a discussion of religious devotion, money, ambition, and relationships.

What if we navigated these three chapters in Matthew as they were originally heard? What if we read them as one cohesive, well-ordered message, intended to challenge us to think differently about what it means to be a follower of Jesus?

This study will give you the opportunity to do just that. Come and learn from Jesus, just as His disciples did.

REGISTER HERE.  Childcare will be provided with registration.
